Research of distribution line carrier network in P-ring structures

Using the shielding layer of buried power cables as a communication medium of transmitting distribution automation data is one kind of cost-effective,advantageous,effective and reliable communication modes.It is a new attempt which the buried cables shielding layer carrier communication in P-ring network structure is fulfilled by using high frequency bridges coupling technique,the P-ring structures of power networks are adopted in urban areas generally.In this paper through an application example,the transmission characteristics of shielding layer channel which are linked by multilevel subsection power cables,is measured,and the communicating effect of carrier network is analyzed.The series successful experiments indicate that it is reliable communication mode to transmit distribution automation data by using multilevel subsection power cables shielding layer carrier communication.
