Study on the application of MC-CDMA for high-speed power line communications

At present,Power Line Communication(PLC) as a reliable high speed data communication method for Internet access and in-home/office networking faces many challenges,such as time-varying channel attenuation,multi-path frequency-selective fading,multiple access interference and background noise etc.Then,Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access(MC-CDMA),which is considered as one of the most promising candidates for the B3G cellular wireless network,offers a new idea to cope with these challenges.This article studies the application of MC-CDMA in PLC,and introduces the systematic model.Furthermore the implementary method of synchronization and multi-user detection is presented.Finally the prospect of MC-CDMA applied to power line communication is brought forward.
