On the Developing History of Law Translation at the End of Qing Dynasty

The end of the Qing Dynasty,with the Western Learning,the large-scale translation work had been developed,and with the people understanding Western from the"artifacts"to the"system",in the practical needs of society,the law translation in the late Qing was gradually developed ,and made a huge success. From Haiphong Period to the Westernization Movement,law translation slowly started,from the Restoration to the late Qing,and to Preparatory Constitutional,law translation came into the rapid development stage. From the initial stage to the stage of rapid development,law translation gradually became the keystone of translation activities. The translation of law books,for the reforming and amendment of law in the late Qing,for social and political change in China in modern times,has played a huge role.
