Zhao Ping;He Meiying;
China and Vietnam are neighboring countries,with convenient transportation,and they are both competitive and complementary in the fruit trade. Based on the use of the comparative advantage index and the trade complementarity index,the article uses the fruit trade data of China and Vietnam in 2007-2016 to analyze the competitiveness and complementarity of the fruit trade between the two countries. The conclusions show that in the aspect of trade competitiveness,the comparative advantages of fruit between China and Vietnam are obvious and the two sides have Potention in trade cooperation. In terms of trade complementarity,trade complementarity between China's exports and Vietnam's imports is more prominent,and the trade complementarity between China's imports and Vietnam's exports has weakened in some types of fruit,but in general,the complementarity of fruit trade between China and Vietnam is still quite obvious.
