AN EFFECTIVE METHOD OF ROBUST OF ROBUST STABILITY TEST FOR POWER SYSTEW——(Ⅰ)ROBUST TABILITY TEST CRITERION

This paper proposes a method for fast stability assessment of large scale power systems, which are perturbed. First of all, the formulation of matrix fraction perturbation of transfer functions (abbrevi- ated to "fractional perturbation")is used to deseribe the change of parameters in various models (including control equipments) of power systems. Based on this deseription, a necessary and sufficient condition for the robust stability test of power systems is derived using the algebraic theory for robust stability and a corresponding algorithm is given.
