A research on prehistoric archaeology and ecological environment in Hong Kong

From the very beginning great importance has been attached to the study of archaeological ecology in the prehistoric archaeology in Hong Kong,From the early 1930`s researchers have made congtant study on the relationship between the geographical feature and archaeological sites in Hong Kong,and have drawn systematical and scientific conclusions on the changing patterns in general in environment,climate and sea level in Hong Kong during the late period of the cenozoic era,Archaeologists are even able to draw some inferences,according to the charges of the mollusc remains discovered or the relics of shell mound,about the evohitionary process of the modes of prodnction and life styles of the ancient people form the Neolithic Age,Bronze Age to even the Han Dynasty.
