ON THE REGIONALIZATION OF THE COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT OF ECONOMIC VEGETATION AND OTHER SPECIAL PRODUCTS IN SHANG-LO PRECTURE, SHAANXI PROVINCE

The main contents of this paper are as follows: Ⅰ. The purpose of the regionalization; Ⅱ. The criterion of the regionalization; Ⅲ. General situation of the comprehensire development regions. Since the formation of comprehensive development regions is mainlycontrolled by physical factors, such as topography, heat, water, soil; eco-nomic vegetation and the characteristics of forest production should be regarded as criteria in the division of comprehensive development regions. Because the regional characteristics are mirrored by topography, cli-matic conditions, soil, economic vegetation and forest differentiation, theShang-Lo prefecture, Shaanxi Province, can be divided into the followingtwo comprehensive development zones and five regions: Ⅰ. North sub-tropical zone 1. The comprehensive development legion of Aleurites fordii, Camelliaoleosa, Citrus spp., Pinus massoniana and Cunninghamia lanceolata; 2. The comprehensive development region of Camellia, C. sinensis,Aleurites fordii, Trachycarpus fortunei and Pinus armandi; 3. The comprehensive development of region of Juglans regia, Aleuritesfordii and Diospyros kaki; Ⅱ. Warm-temperate zone 4. The comprehensive development region of Juglans regia, Castaneabungeana, Zanthoxylum bungeanum and Pinus tabulaeformis; 5. The comprehensive development region of Rhus verniciflus, Castaneabungeana and Pinus armandi.
