INDUCTION OF CALLUS AND REGENERATION OF WHOLE PLANTS FROM SOLANUM MELONGENA STEM

In this paper, induction of callus in stem segment culture of Solanummelongena, formation of shoots and regeneration of whole plants were stu-died. Meanwhile, effect of 2.4-D on callus growth in subcultures and dif-ferent basis media on callus redifferentiating into plantlets was compara-tively tested.
