Embryogenic callus of Picea meyeri Rehd.et Wils.cultured on MS+2,4 D 1 mg/L+KT 1 mg/L remained high growth rate and differential ability through 3 year subcultures.There were variations in number of chromosomes in embryogenic callus cells.But the number of chromosomes in root tip cells of regenerated plantlets was relatively stable (2n=28).
