Effects of water stress on photosynthetic pigment in leaves and chlorophyll fluorescence of Cynanchum komarovii

Effects of water stress on photosynthetic pigment and chlorophyll fluorescence induction kinetic parameter in leaves of Cynanchum komarovii were studied.The results showed the content of chlorophyll a (Chl a),b (Chl b) and carotenoid (Car) in leaves of Cynanchum komarovii did not decrease or decreased little in the course of water stress.But it decreased significantly after a long time of water stress.The chlorophyll fluorescence induction kinetic parameters Fo,Fm,Fv,Fv/Fm changed little.In last stage of all treatments,Fo decreased,but Fm,Fv,Fv/Fm increased under lightly and serious water stress.Which showed the photosynthesis of Cynanchum komarovii would be influenced after a long time of water stress.But Cynanchum komarovii still showed high adaptability to water stress.
