Influence of 0.05 g/L 2,4-D on facultative apomixis in Apluda mutica

The growth regulators were applied by spraying panicles with 0.05 g/L 2,4-D aqueous solution during inflorescence development stage.Pollen fertility and ratio of seed setting showed no difference between treated and untreated plants in two-year study.Frequency of apomixis decreased significantly in two-year study.
