Application of Virtual Simulation in Experimental Teaching of Communication Principle

As the traditional communication principle experiment are mostly based on hardware experiments which are mostly verifi-able and involves in only limited number of projects, this paper introduces the virtual simulation experiment teaching based onMATLAB in an effort to resolve these limitations. Through the simulation example of AM superheterodyne radio, the author provesthat the MATLAB based experiments can flexibly construct the communication system and modify the parameters, which can great-ly improve the teaching effects of the communication principle.
