Study on the recovery of original organic carbon content of source rock

In this study firstly convert ratios of weight loss of organic matter and carbon are calculated on basis of kinetics parameters of weight loss of organic matter and carbon,then combining pressure models for two kinds of resource rock,porosity of rock and the weight ratio of rock and organic matter,the coefficients of the recovery of the original organic carbon content are calculated in the condition of open-system and closed-system for two kinds of resource rock as follows.Clastic rock model(including coaly mudstone) shows that in the condition of open-system the maximal coefficients of the recovery of the organic carbon content for type Ⅰ and Ⅱ kerogen are 3.03 and 1.44,respectively.In the condition of closed-system the maximal coefficients of the recovery of the organic carbon content for type Ⅰ and Ⅱ kerogen are 1.30 and 1.13,respectively.Because the TOC value mount up with maturation progress for type Ⅲ kerogen,the minimal coefficients of the recovery of the organic carbon content are 0.85 and from 0.80 to 0.83 in the condition of open-system and closed-system respectively.With maturation progress the coefficient of the recovery of the organic carbon content for coal firstly reduces then increases,e.g.,in the condition of open-system the coefficient of the recovery of the organic carbon content is 0.93 at the stage of kennel coal,then drops to 0.79 at the stage of fat coal,finally rises to 0.80 at the stage of anthracite;in the condition of closed-system the coefficient of the recovery of the organic carbon content is 0.92 at the stage of kennel coal,then drops to 0.74 at the stage of fat coal,finally rises to 0.78 at the stage of anthracite.
