PHYSICO-CHEMICAL CONDITIONS AND MECHANISM OF MINERALIZATION OF LIANHUASHAN GOLD DEPOSIT, CHIFENG, INNER MONGOLIA

Microthermometry and compositional analysis are carried out on fluid inclusions hosted in quartz which is intimately associated with gold mineralization. The composition, sality and density of mineralizing fluids, the p-T conditon of fluid entrapment and other physico-chemical parameters such as pH, Eh, fo2 and fs2 are calculated based on the theory of fluid inclusion geochemistry. Finally, two kinds of mechanism are sugessted for the precipitation of gold. They are boiling-degassing and mixing of fluid.
