QUANTITATIVE RECONSTRUCTION OF VEGETATION AND CLIMATE OF FANJINGSHAN SECTION IN GUIZHOU DURING LAST 10 000 YEARS

Main factor's analysis was used to quantitatively reconstruct the palaeoecological environment of the last 10 000 years in Fanjingshan Mountains, Guizhou Province. Through comparing with the modern vegetation zoning and its climatic factors, the possible values and changing range of some climatic factors in different periods are estimated. The Palaeovegetation and Palaeoclimate of the section can be divided into three developing (1) 10-7.8 ka B.P. the annual average temperature rose from a little lower to a little higher than present, and at the beginning the vegetation consists dominantly of meadow and at the end of deciduous broadleaf forest;(2) 7.82-7 ka B.P. is a high temperature period with an annual average temperature 1 .6-3.3℃ higher than that of the present and the vegetation is the mixture of evergreen and deciduous broadleaf forest; (3) Sinee 2.7 ka B.P. to present the annual average temperature decreases undulately and is near to that of present at 800 a B. P. and the vegetation consists mainly of meadow and deciduous broadleaf forest.The rainfall stabilizes and the climate is comparatively moist in the Holocene.The range of vegetation zone moving upwards vertically since 10 000 a B. P. is about 100-400m.
