COMPOSITIONS OF FLUID INCLUSIONS AND IMPLICATIONS IN VOLCANIC ROCKS, SHENGLI OIL-FIELD

The compositons of fluid inclusions in volcanic rocks from the Shengli Oil-field have been analyzed. There are significant differences in compositions of fluid inciusions in volcanic rocks between non CO_2 and CO_2 gas field. In the CO_2 gas field, the contents of CO_2 in fluid inclusions from Cenozoic volcanic rocks (47.9%- 72.7%, average:62.3 % , with δ ̄(13)C ranging from -4.8‰ to -5. 5‰) are significanly higher than those from non CO_2 gas field (22.7%-68.2%, average: 47.7%, with δ(13)C ranging from -10.2‰-14.6‰). Therefore, the natural CO_2 may be derived from the volcanic rocks derived from mantle.
