APPLICATION OF BIOGEOCHEMICAL REMOTE SENSING TECHNOLOGY IN PREDICTING GOLD DEPOSITS:A CASE STUDY OF WULAGA REGION, HEILONGJIANG PROVINCE

Information of geological structure,wall-rock alteration and vegetation in relation to ore formation of Au deposit was extracted from TM image,and synthesized to reveal the vegetation abnormality of Au biogeochemical effect,which was further applied to specify and enclose remote sensing abnormal areas of Au.six optimum remote sensing abnormal areas were found and verified in the field.The results proved that biogeochemical remote sensing technology is a rapid,accurate and low-cost method for predicting Au deposit.
