ORGANIC GEOCHEMISTRY CHARACTERISTICS OF YINDONG-Zl Ag-Pb MULTIMETAL ORE DEPOSIT IN ZHASHUI, SHAANXI

Hu Ming'an (China University of Geosciences, Wuhan 430074)  
The host-rock of the ore deposit is phyllite and slate of Middle Devonian.The studies of organic geochemistry on the ore-bearing formation show that the host-rock is rich in primary organic matters and the sedimentary environment is low basin in the epicontinental sea. The organic matters reach high maturation stage. There is no thermal maturation anomaly. The principal factor forming the organic matter maturation is the terrestrial heat to long buried compression.The facts show that the ore deposit formed in the synsedimentary stage.
