Research on viscous fingering of fluid in simulated models with porous media

For research the effect of porous media on viscous fingering,simulation model with porous media is established based on stochastic theory.Utilized fractal growth DLA method,viscous fingering simulation is performed in porous media simulation model.The effects of viscosity difference and heterogeneity on viscous fingering are analyzed,and the relationship between fractal dimension value of viscous fingering and some macro parameters,such as porosity fractal dimension and displacing velocity,are discussed in this paper.The result shows that viscosity difference between fluids is intrinsic factor that causes viscous fingering and porous media heterogeneity is extrinsic factor.So viscous fingering can be controlled by viscous difference between fluids and displacing velocity.
