A case of facies control stochastic modeling of heavy oil reservoir petrolphysics

Taking Block 32-18 in Liaohe oilfield as an example,this paper deals with the method of 3D modeling of sedimentary microfacies and facies control stochastic modeling of reservoir petrolphysics using data of log and cored wells with marked point process technique,in addition presentation of the quantitative architecture model of the braided channel of the fan-delta front in study area.Facies models show that the widths of single sand bodies in braided channel are averagely from 160 m to 240 m,sand bodies are thin,spatial continuity of sand bodies in landscape orientation is relatively poor,and architecture model of channel body is like a labyrinth.Petrolphysics models show that porosity and permeability have close relation to sedimentary micro facieses,and their spatial distribution is controlled obviously by micro facieses.Essential geostatistical parameters for 3D modeling can be picked up effectively using data of log and cored wells.Research shows that the method of marked point process and facies control modeling is feasible in Block 32-18,and petrolphysics models are in line with its geology.
