Application of latent power tapping in horizontal wells in remaining oil of thick reservoirs in the later period of strong water sensitivity of Daqing Oil Field

Based on the deposit characteristics of the thick oil reservoir and distribution law of remaining oil in the later period of strong water sensitivity in Daqing oil fields,applying the latent power tapping technology to the horizontal wells,the remaining oil is recovered in the upper part of thick reservoirs in the later period of strong water sensitivity in Daqing oil fields.A better effect is achieved after the application of well south 1-2-ping 25 which is a horizontal well in armor block of south-1 area,the proportion of the sandstone in the 630m of the designed horizontal section is 100%.The whole horizontal section is located at the center or upside of the objective interval;the moisture content is only 10.6% at the initial stage,the verified accumulation output of the oil is 16 279 t after 6 months.It has reached the development result tapping latent potentialities of the remaining oil in the upper part of thick reservoirs.
