MAC protocol of underwater acoustic sensor networks based on belief state space

The underwater acoustic sensor networks has the problems of small channel bandwidth,long transmission delay,caused by the problem of time-space uncertainty when the nodes use channel,a kind of MAC protocol of underwater acoustic sensor networks based on belief state space is put forward in this paper. Firstly,the time axis of the receiving node is divided into a plurality of time slots and the node state information is divided by the link quality and the residual energy of each sensor node. Then,the probability of channel occupancy is predicted according to the historical information of channel observation and access action. The channel optimal scheduling sequence of the transmitting node is obtained. The sending node communicates with the receiving node in the assigned time slot according to the scheduling sequence and transports packets. When the communication is completed,the relevant node estimates the state of the next slot according to the cumulative maximum value of the network belief state MDP transfer function and the belief state compensation function. Simulation results show that the MAC protocol proposed can effectively reduce the data packet collision rate,and improve the success rate of packet transmission and network throughput,and reduce the energy consumption of the network.
