Electrical exploration on water region used in the geophysical prospecting cross the river and lake

Electrical exploration is widely applied in the underwater tunnel geophysical prospecting.High density direct current(DC) electrical method can get good data and suitable survey depth by the different array configuration compared with the transient electromagnet(TEM).Take No.8 section on Lancangjiang river as a example,near 90 meters depth is reached with the 96m array longth of 48 electrodes underwater cable by the pole-pole configuration.We give the geological explain based on the resistivity section,and show that underwater DC method is effective and suitable after the geological explain results is verified by the underwater borehole column.
