WAVELET TRANSFORMATION AND MULTIRESOLUTION CORRELATION ANALYSIS OF GRAVITY ANOMALY AND DEM

For understanding the internal mechanism of correlation gravity anomaly and DEM are decomposed by wavelet tranformation. Based on the changes of statistical correktion of different wavelet scale we obtain the result that the traditional correlation between gravity anomaly and DEM is in fact the correlation of WT details. The remark that the correlation is not so simple but including geophysical meaning is drawn up as well.
