GAS TRANSIT MEASUREMENT METHOD OF PERMEABILITY ON ROCK

CHEN ZU-AN WU XIANG-YANG FANG HUA YANG WEI (Laboratory of High Temperature and High Pressure Geodynamics, Institute of Geophysics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing 100101, China)  
Measuring permeability of rock has important meaning in oil field, water conservancy, waste dispose and environment engineering. Using the Porosity and Permeability Meter under high pressure, based on Darcy law, state equation and equation of continuity, a gas transit measurement and calculation method of permeability on rock has been studied. The results show that the method is suitable to low permeability rock, quick and simple as well. Meanwhile, it is easily extended to permeability measurement under temperature condition.
