Simulation of sensitivity field for electromagnetic tomography in multiphase flow well logging

In order to find the sensitivity field for electromagnetic tomography in multiphase flow well logging, we calculate potential distribution using FEM (Finite Element Method) according to the structure of array electrodes and the characteristic of electromagnetic field section, then simulate sensitivity fields of different distribution models. The results indicate that the sensitivity field has a saddle-shape within the region from transmitting electrode to measuring electrode. It is more sensitive nearby the transmitting and measuring electrodes than in the inner region of the saddle-shape band.
