Petrology and Isotope Chronology of the Jinfosi Pluton,Qilian Mts. ,Gansu

Zhang Dequan Sun Guiying Xu Honglin (Institute of Geology ,CAGS,Beijing)  
The Jinfosi pluton is located to the Southcast of Jiuquan(39°12′ 39°24′N, 98°30′ 99°12′E).Three intrusive stages have been recognized :the early stage (Jinfosi granodiorite-quartz mon-zonite(GQM );the middle stage of Dacaotan monzonitic granite(MG and the late stage of Gan-baou muscovite-biotite granite( MBG).The whole- rock Rb-Sr isochron age GQM is 419.87±0.4Ma and that of MG is 403.77±0.08Ma. The emplacement age is late silurian rather thanlate Devonian. The Jinfosi pluton’s ΣREE is (96.51-120.16) × 10 ̄6,δEu 0.67 0.77,εSr(t)+45. 8 ,and εNdt) 16.3. Its magma was derived by partial melting of the middle lower crust at adepth ranging from 30km to 36km. Since its formation ,the pluton has experienced three upliftevents(D,T,and N-Q)and two subsidence events(C and Cr.).
