A STUDY ON RESONANCE ABSORPTION OF WATER VAPOR BY USING A LINE-TUNABLE CO LASER

An experimental study is carried out on the resonance absorption properties of water vapor by using a line-tunable CO laser. The experimental equipment and method are briefly described. The resonance absorption coefficients, the half-widths, and the pressure broadening effect for some lines in water vapor v2 band have been obtained by experiments.
