A Prospect on Future Atmospheric Remote Sensing

QIU Jin-Huan, CHEN Hong-Bin, WANG Pu-Cai, and LU Da-RenInstitute of Atmospheric Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences, Beijing\ 100029  
The prospect on future developments of atmospheric remote sensing research is made. It focus on: 1) some characteristics on future researches of atmospheric remote sensing; 2) active plus passive satellite remote sensing; 3) integration applications of atmospheric remote sensing techniques; 4) synthetic remote sensing of physical parameters of atmosphere and ground-surface; 5) remote sensing of aerosol and cloud optical properties; 6) remote sensing of the spatial-temporal distribution of atmospheric trace components; 7) ground-based atmospheric remote sensing.
