Present Status of Audio FFT Technology

Looking through four generations of the FFT analyzer a description of its developing process from analogue to digitization is given in this paper. Due to the combination of the FFT algorithm and computer technology,the analyzer's functions are made much stronger, specifications even higher but its price reduces with each passing year. At the present time the combination of software and hardware and the hardware standardization of the FFT algorithm have been realized with software as the main part for the analyzer.
