In 19811-1981, we surveyed parasitic helminthes, of the wild true deer animals of Shaanxi Province, from the caecum and large intestine of Reeve's muntjac we found one species of nema-tode belonging to the family Trichonematidae, subgenus Hysteracrum of genus Oesophagosiom-um. These specimens were indentificd same to the species of Oesophagostomum (Hysteracrum) sp. Yen, 1973, from Indian muntjac of Yannan Province and as a new species, it is supple-mently named and reported as follows.Oesophagostomum (Hysteracrum) mun(?)iacum sp. nov.
