STUDY ON THE FLOW ORGANIZATION OF THE SPIRAL QUICK-FREEZING INSTALLATION

The spiral quick-freezer is one of the main freezing equipments used in the quick-freezing industry. Compared with foreign equipments, those of our domestic are more inefficient, the mess and heat transfer at the entrance and exit is one of the main causes of the energy loss. In this paper, aiming at the air flow organization at entrance and exit set at the same height, but the different sides, experimental investigation was carried out, and a 3-dimension mathematical model was set up, numerical simulation is given,solved with PHOENICS software. Finally, advanced plan was given according to the analysis on flow field.
