INVESTIGATION ON CHARACTERISTICS OF TWO MODES IN A HYBIRD THERMOACOUSTIC PRIME-MOVER

Two modes in a hybird thermoacoustic engine, high frequency mode and low frequency mode, have been reported in Ref.1. The stable high frequercy mode have been successfully gained through test.The characteristics and development rule of the two modes have detaily been compared and analyzed in the first time,it kas been fownd that they are two notable different thermoacoustic modes.This hgbird thermoacoustic engine is initially explored in theory.The important influence of the mode action of this system to the stability of it has been analyzed.This effective engineering meaning has been given in this paper.
