DYNAMIC SIMULATION OF GAS REGULATOR

The dynamic mathematical model and the simulation model are established for a cryogenic gas regulator. The concept of evaporization ratio is introduced and the effect of evaporization ratio on the performance of the regulator is analyzed. It is suggested that more precise control can be achieved through improving the nozzle performance, increasing the atomization and the evaperization ratio and decreasing the stuffing level. The conclusions drawn can be used to optimize the design of the cryogenic gas regulator and to control the whole thermal regulating system in which the gas regulator plays an important part.
