Performance characteristics of an irreversible regenerative Brayton refrigeration cycle working with an ideal Bose gas

Based on the thermodynamic properties of an ideal Bose gas and the model of an irreversible regenerative Brayton refrigeration cycle,the expressions for some important performance parameters of the cycle,such as the refrigeration load,regenerative heat load,work input and coefficient of performance were derived.By using numerical calculation,several important performance characteristic curves were generated.The influence of the quantum degeneracy,irreversibility and regeneration on the performance of a Bose Brayton refrigeration cycle was analyzed.
