Development of Vapor-Liguid Two-phase Vortex Tube Experimental Apparatus

This paper introduces the rcsearch status on vortex tube at home and abroad and the significance of research on vapor-liquid two-phase vortex tube. The two-pliase vortex tube centrial structure and the develo-ping scheme of experimental system are proposed.Compared with the single-phase votex tube,a liguid separation shell is set at a distance of about one internal diameter from the nozzle inlet on the hot side tube for thetwo-Phase vortex tube,Air heater and liquid ejector are added before thevortex tube centrial structure,It is found that cold-heat effect is alsoexist ,but the effect is much smaller than that of single-phase vortex tube.No apparent influence of the hot side tube arrangement direction on thedrop separation efficiency is found.The authors also design and constructthe hot side tube with the material of plexiglass,and fulfill the local visu-alization on the two-phase vortex tube.
