SLIDING MODE CONTROL OFACTIVE POWER FILTERS IN THREE-PHASE FOUR-WIRE SYSTEM

A sliding mode control based active power filter for three-phase four-wire system is developed, the principle of this device and the strategy for sliding mode control are presented, the existence, stability and accessibility of the sliding mode are analyzed, in addition the quality of the developed sliding mode control is researched. The simulation results show that this control strategy possesses good performance to suppress the harmonics and is easy to implement.
