DESIGN OF POWER DEMAND FORECASTING SYSTEM BASED ON MULTI-AGENT COOPERATIVE TECHNIQUE

In electricity market the power demands are more and more complicated and because of the increasing of the influencing factors the electricity price possesses more elasticity. At first, the complicated power demand forecasting process is analyzed in which the two procedures, i.e., the power demand forecasting and the electricity price forecasting, are influenced each other and the two procedures are alternately conducted. Then it is proposed to design a parallel forecasting system for both power demand and electricity price by use of multi-agent cooperation technique. By means of agent technique, in this forecasting system the power system theory, power demand forecasting, electricity price forecasting, information acquisition and knowledge discovery are tightly integrated to improve the accuracy of power demand forecasting in power supply market.
