OPTIMAL FILTER ALLOCATION OF DISTRIBUTION NETWORK BASED ON MULTIPLE HARMONIC SOURCES DYNAMIC RUNNING

Many harmonic resources may exist in distribution network. Considering the uncertainty of the running time of the multiple harmonic resources and the researching efficiency of genetic algorithm, the unified optimal allocation of passive power filters (PPF) and active power filters (APF) in distribution network based on hierarchical self-adaptive genetic algorithm is proposed. In distribution network containing dynamic running multiple harmonic resources the installation position of PPF and APF, the types of PPF and APF to be configured and their parameters are hierarchically optimized by the proposed algorithm, i.e., firstly the positions to install the filter banks are determined, then the types of PPF and APF and the number of banks to be configured are defined, at last the parameters of the filters are determined, thus under the prerequisite of satisfying the constraint condition of harmonic power flows the harmonics in distribution network are effectively restrained and the total initial cost is controlled. The effectiveness of the proposed algorithm is verified by the calculation results of an 18-nods distribution network.
