RESEARCHO NO N-LINE ASSESSMENT OF TRANSMISSION NETWORK OPERATION RISK

According to the features of on-line operation risk assessment of power transmission network an algorithm integrating the fault enumeration and probabilistic sampling is established to calculate the risk indices of outage and the intertripping caused by power flow transferring is simulated. The latent risks of power network operation are fast searched by means of synthetical analysis of fault consequences and probability of occurring faults to provide corresponding measures to prevent and control the faults. In the proposed algorithm the features of power network operation and dispatching are adequately considered, the set of serious fault modes is automatically refreshed, the data of power network is updated in real-time mode, and the risk indices in three layers, i.e., in the risk systematic, regional and load node layers, are built up, and the risk information of power network is distributed by webpage. The practicality of the proposed algorithm is verified by the calculation results of IEEE RTS test system and a large scale regional power network.
