Hierarchical Coordinative Protection of Microgrid

Based on current limiting characteristics of actual inverter an inverter control scheme is proposed,on this basis the modeling of microgrid is performed.In the design of microgrid protection,the characteristics of microgrid its own and the impacts of microgrid protection on protection of distribution network are mainly considered.The faulty region is locked in by obtaining fault current,thus the troubles brought by the characteristics of microgrid its own can be overcome.A hierarchical coordinative is adopted to cope with the impacts of microgrid on distribution network.Simulation analysis on Benchmark 0.4kV low voltage microgrid is performed by PSCAD,thus both correctness and effectiveness of the proposed model and control schemes are verified.
