Along with the appearance and the development of GPS-RTK and the digitization technology of measuring depth, and the rapid development of computer technology, they provide the basis of digitization and automatization for underwater topographic survey, in order to calculate reservoir volume. According to the engineering practicality, this paper introduces the makeup, working theory, work method of the full self-motion digital underwater topography system, analyses the survey precision and the error source.
