Drought Monitoring Based on ETM~+ Data

In this paper, the Fuzhou City and the surrounding areas was regarded as the study area. Combing with the ETM data on May 26,2002 and May 23,2001, single window algorithm was used to retrieval the Land Surface Temperature. Unlike previous studies, the meteorological information of the stations was used to retrieval equivalent average atmospheric temperature and atmospheric transmittance. And then ArcGIS 9.3 and the ENVI4.5 were used to retrieval the relevant parameter. Then connected with the NDVI index, the drought level index TVDI was obtained. The results were consistent with the situation from the national climate center.
