Method of Eliminating SIFT Mismatches Based on Main Direction

In view of the shortcomings of RANSAC in eliminating SIFT mismatches, a method of eliminating SIFT mismatches based on main direction was proposed in this paper. The experimental results have verified that compared with RANSAC the method based on main direction is faster. And it can keep more correct matching points and eliminate more mismatches at the same time. What is more, this method can still obtain good ef ect even when the number of correct matching points is less than mismatches.
