Research on Electronic Map Application Framework Based on Mobile Devices

Aim to solve these problem that online map is not unstable, mobile data traffic is expensive and offline map update difficult, data cannot be encrypted and so on exit in these applications, we designed an electronic map application framework of on-offline integration based on pyramid model. In this framework, we built a method of seamless handoff of online-offline to browse map smoothly, update the offline data automatically and reduced the mobile data traffic. At the same time, we used SQLCipher technology to implement offline data encryption. Comparing with Arc GIS runtime framework and others, the results show that the proposed framework can reduce the mobile data traffic effectively, improve the offline data security, support the map of the stable browsing and update the offline data in real time.
