MA Luyao;Journal Edition of Sichuan University of Arts and Sciences;
In the earlier years of Western Jin Dynasty,its systems were followed from the ones of Wei Dynasty,among which the institutions about rites and musics did so.As a dance in National ceremonial rites,the "Ba Yu Dances" were inherited from the "Yu'er Dance" composed by Wang Can in the last years of Eastern Han Dynasty.In the 5 th year of Wu Empire in Taishi Time of Jin Dynasty,Fu Xian recomposed the "Ba Yu Dances" according to "Yu'er Dance" and named it as "Xuan Wu Dance" and renewed its lyrics.The structure and content of the lyrics in the "Xuan Wu dance" both followed the "Yu'er Dance" and absorbed the music in the earlier years of Western Jin Dynasty.In the 9 th year of Taishi Time,the "Xuan Wu Dance" was replaced by the "Da Yu Dance" which integrated the "Xuan Wu Dance" and "Da Wu Dance".Since that,the "Ba Yu Dances" developed confluently.
