Traversal optimization for passive intermodulation test in mobile communication systems

Passive intermodulation is a key indicator in performance evaluation of communication equipment. In traditional test scheme, only parts of frequency combinations are sorted. However, the lack of completeness may cover up some practical problems since the intermodulation level is highly related with the source frequency. In this paper, a new passive intermodulation test scheme based on traversal frequency scanning is proposed, which could tackle the traditional problem of completeness and provide more accureate results.
