THE VARIATION OF VIRULENCE OF Y.PESTIS AFTER INOCULATION IN PLANTS

Gu Feng,et al Chinese Base for Cuntrol and Treatment of Plague and Brucellusis,Baicheng  
Y. Pestis 061 was inoculated in plants. After 10 days the LD50 of the original strain 061 was 3. 569 times as much as that of its isolated strain 61-3. After 20 days the LD50 of the original strain 061 was up to 35. 155 times compared with its isolated strain 61-2. And the LD50 of strain 61-3 was 9. 85 times as much as strain 61-2. It was showed that the increase of virulence of Y. Pestis was corresponding to the time that the strain grew in plants.
