Analysis on monitoring results of Kaschin-Beck disease in Na Linhe Town,Wu Shen County,Inner Mongolia from 2000 to 2005

Objective To monitor the growth and decline trend of Kaschin-Beck disease(KBD) during 6 years in KBD areas,finding out factors which cause the disease in various angles.Methods To investigate comprehensively the changes of living environment of people in these areas.To randomly choose children aged 7 to 12 as samples,giving them clinical and Xray examination.ResuIts Except the year of 2000,the clinical result of children in the rest five years is 0,and the rate of X-ray diagnosis has dropped significantly,from 23.33% in 2000 to 0.Conclusions State of illness shows a tendency of decline.Factors' magnitude and power of causing the disease has been kept within limits greatly.Grains from KBD endemic area may be main detrimental factors of local KBD.
