Study on Modified Ultra-high Molecular Weight Polythylene Membrane Used in Drinking Water Defluoridation

Objective The screening more effective usability strong potable water eliminates the fluorine material.Methods This paper studied,while modified Ultra-high molecular weight polythylene membranes used in drinking water defluoridation,the capability,the condition of application and the performance of renewable application.Results When the effective membrane filter's area is 140 cm2 and the water flow rate is 3 L/min,The membrane will purify effectively 60 L water which is in a fluoride concentration of 3 mg/L.In addition,the quantity of fluoride in the drainage kept at 0.48 to 0.93 mg/L,and in line with the state standards in the health of drinking water.The dynamic saturation adsorption capacity of membrane is 0.44mg/ cm2.After repeatedly renew six times,the adsorption capacity can resume more than 85 percent.Conclusions The modified superelevation molecular weight polyethylene micro filter diaphragm has eliminates the fluorine effect to be obvious,stable,the use cycle is long,easy to operate.Eliminates the fluorine regarding the potable water to have the high use value.
